About Us

About

Public Health Conference is organized every year by Public Health Association of South Africa to bring together the full range of public health professionals, researchers, policy-makers, academics, students and trainees come together to strengthen efforts to improve health and well-being, to share the latest research and information, to promote best practices and to advocate for public health issues and policies grounded in research. We were particularly inspired by the observation that 2020 stands at a cross road of two major events: it marks 20 years’ anniversary of PHASA; and 10 years away from the 2030 sustainable development agenda. Our Symposia are delivered with a set of core principles in mind.
